MISSIONARY BOXER: The Film, The DVD & The Special Features!
ACT ONE SCENE ONE
"The Second Morning After"
My long-time dream for transforming my pretty good stage musical into an excellent movie musical took a jump start on what seems like a distant Thursday Night. Actually it was 2 days ago (November 17, 2011) But when your PR professional only has three days to pull together a press conference two hours of sleep a night is a luxury.
Turns out I needent have bothered.
It all happened because of one tiny possible screenwriter. We had recruited a person who had made a real impact with one of the first LDS niche market films--but if I say the name, I would hurt this person's feelings.
When most of the world clamors for even bad publicity just as long as they spell their name right (Think Al Smith's run for President back in the day) this otherwise marvelous soul had a blind spot about -- well about our Process.
Don't get too curious, but deciding to make a movie, even announcing it these days without dollar one in the bank would make anybody concerned at best and skittish at the very least.
That's what we're doing! No alchemist in his right mind would try and turn a wonderful dream into a wonderful film without his palm being crossed with brass, gold, cash or dinheiro!
